How to return an Essential Hoodie
If you are not completely satisfied with your Essential Hoodie, we want you to be able to return it without any problem. Here is how to do it:
- First, make sure that the hoodie is in the condition you received it in. If there is any sign of damage, please do not try to return the product.
- Take your Essential Hoodie to a local store or post office where you bought it and ask them to process a return for you.
- Once the return has been processed, take the hoodie back to Essential and exchange it for another product or refund.

If you need to return or exchange your Essential Hoodie, please do so within 30 days of receiving it. You can either bring the garment to any of our stores or mail it back to us. We will process your return and send you a refund in the form of store credit.
What to do if the hoodie is dirty or has stains
If you find that your Essential Hoodie is dirty or has stains, you should follow these steps:
- Wash the hoodie in cold water with detergent and hang to dry.
- If the hoodie still has stains, wash it in hot water with a mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not use fabric softener.
- If the hoodie still has stains, wash it in a commercial machine that uses industrial-grade washing powder and hot water.
If you have not worn your Essential Hoodie for more than three months, we recommend returning it to us. We will process the return and send you a new one. If you have worn your Essential Hoodie for more than three months but have not worn it in the past month, we recommend washing it and returning it to us.
What to do if the hoodie is defective
If you have an Essential Hoodie and it’s defective, you should contact customer service as soon as possible. Here are some tips on how to do that:
- Call the customer service number on the back of the hoodie. This number is 1-800- Essential or 888-237-3792 in Canada.
- Fill out a support ticket online. You can find the link to do this on Essential’s website or on the support page for your specific hoodie model.
- If you reach out to customer service but don’t hear back from them within 48 hours, you can also send an email to [email protected] . Include your hoodie’s order number and your name, address, and phone number.
What to do if you don’t have the original receipt
If you purchased your Essential Hoodie from an authorized retailer and don’t have the original receipt, you can return your hoodie for a full refund.
If you purchased your Essential Hoodie from an unauthorized retailer or if the store is closed, you can still return your hoodie for a full refund, but your return will not include the original shipping and handling costs. You will be responsible for those costs.
