Jesse Stone: Night Passage (2006)

Tom Selleck, who was kicked out by the LAPD for his drinking, reprises his role in Night Passage as the chief of small-town police.

Stone is sent to Paradise, Massachusetts by Hastings Hathoway, a corrupt local banker. He also serves as president of the Board of Selectmen.

Hathoway selected Stone because he believes that he is easy-to-control. Stone’s first assignment is to investigate the murder, played by Mike Starr, of Lou Carson. This could indicate that Stone has mob ties.

Jesse Stone: Stone Cold (2005)

Stone Cold is a small community where tough cops are needed to tackle the most serious crimes. Tom Selleck portrays Jess Stone, a tough chief of police with a big heart.

Stone believes whiskey flows even when it is difficult. However, this is not the case

Stone believes that two strange artists may be behind the murders in Paradise. They’re not the only ones being investigated.

Stone is baffled by the sex assault of a minor. Stone wonders if there is a connection between the sexual assaults and the crimes.

Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise (2006)

Death in Paradise will be the next Jesse Stone movie you should check out. Jesse Stone attempts to solve the murder of a teenage girl and the result of domestic violence in Death in Paradise. This is the third cinematic mystery film by Robert B. Parker.

Stone discovers that the remains and body of an ex-straight A student were found floating in a local lake. Her parents didn’t report her missing.Stone leaves the city with very little and sets out to explore it. Stone meets the Boston Mob.

Stone feels like he is moving further from the truth every day.

Stone becomes quickly obsessed when he realizes that he is on track to solving the case.

Jesse Stone: Sea Change (2007)

Sea Change: Stone is worried about a relapse into drinking as the relationship between Jesse Stone, Police Chief, and his ex-wife gets worse.

Counsel is sought and he is advised to work on cold cases to keep himself busy. He begins work on the unsolved murder of a bank teller, who was killed in a robbery.

Stone is currently in conflict with the local council about an alleged rape. Stone believes this will put Paradise at risk as a top seaside resort.

Jesse Stone: Thin Ice (2008)

Selleck returns to the role of Paradise In Thin Ice’s uncompromising, but troubled police chief. Two more investigations are underway and Stone’s relationship with the town council is becoming dangerous.

Stone is hurt in an attempt to kill Captain Healy, Massachusetts State Police. He pursues the murderer despite Healy’s advice and the advice of Paradise Town Council and Internal Affairs.

The chief is afflicted by alcoholism, and his marriage is ruined. Stone is determined to live by his moral code and takes on his superior, who is a potential killer and kidnapper.

Jesse Stone: No Remorse (2010)

The next Jesse Stone movie is No Remorse. This film continues the story about the relentless, anguished ex-police chief in Paradise.

Paradise Police Department suspended him, which led to his seclusion. Strange murders in Boston may also be linked to him.

The killings draw Stone back to the fold. Stone is soon drawn back to the fold by the killings.

Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost (2011)

Lost In Paradise, the final Jesse Stone movie to watch, is a must-see. Chief Stone takes a well-deserved vacation in Boston, as things seem to be going smoothly at Paradise.

The Assistant State Homicide Command is well aware of his LAPD Homicide experience and requests that he consult him about a series cold-case murders.

He is an expert in law enforcement and leads him to a closed case. It is a dangerous investigation that he cannot let go of.

The Boston Police are looking for “The Boston Ripper”, a suspect already in jail. Stone takes it in a new direction and leads it closer to home with surprising suspects, grave danger, or people.
