Three Chase checking accounts are “everyday”. All accounts have access to online banking, bill pay and mobile banking.

Chase Total checking(r), the most popular account, has a $12 monthly maintenance fee. It is possible to waive the fee if you meet certain conditions. Chase charges $2.50 for each transaction that uses an ATM not owned by Chase. This fee is added to the ATM owner’s fees.

Chase Savings are two of the savings accounts offered by Chase Bank. These rates are very competitive, especially when compared with savings rates at many online banks.

Chase Savings pays basic interest and earns an incredibly low 0.01% APY on all balances.

  • Maintain a minimum of $300 at the beginning of each day
  • Chase Personal Banking Account: $25 or more in Autosave, and other recurring automatic transfers
  • You’re younger than 18 years old
  • Link your Chase account to a chosen linked account

Chase Premier Savings charges $25 per month in management fees. This fee can be waived if you meet the following monthly requirements

  • Maintain a minimum $1500 account at the beginning of each day.
  • Chase Premier Plus and Chase Sapphire checking accounts are linked

Premier Savings accounts have tiered interest rates. These rates are determined by account balance and whether you qualify for the relationship rate. You can earn up to 0.05% APY if you have a Chase Premier Plus, Chase Sapphire Checking or Chase Sapphire Checking account that is linked and meets monthly transaction requirements.

Any transaction exceeding six per month will be subject to a $5 charge.


Chase Certificates of Deposit are available in a range of terms. They can be bought for as little as $1,000 up to ten years. Relationship rates can be higher depending on account balance and term length.

Chase Private Clients can get special CD ladder rates by opening four CDs of different terms at once.

Early withdrawal penalties can apply to Chase CD accounts. These penalties may be up to 365 days depending on the term. These penalties can be as high as 365 days depending on the term.
