How to find glass gemstones

It can be difficult to find glass gemstones. To gain Duscae, you will need to complete Chapter 3. You can then travel to Lestallum where you’ll find Final Fantasy 15’s first Glass Gemstone. After getting out of your car, climb up the stairs to cross the road to your right. Look for the item on the table on the Newfields Building’s front deck.

Cape Caem is the next location for the Glass Gemstone. It’s located near Hidden Getaway. Look to your right as you approach the hotel’s entrance and see a small well. You can grab this Glass Gemstone from the edge of the well.

The hills east of Vesperpool contain the third Glass Gemstone. Look for the hills between Vesperpool and the small lake. You can easily spot this Glass Gemstone by simply walking around the area.

Altissia also has a Glass Gemstone. The Leville- Royal Suite rest area is where you can find the item. Turn left when you exit the hotel. After passing the first vendor, turn right again near the fountain and continue forward to the small archway. The Glass Gemstone is located under the arch.

You can only obtain a Glass Gemstone by levelling up Gladiolus Survival skill. This skill is Gladio’s primary skill. It works in the same way as Noctis’ Fishing skill. After levelling it up to level 6, Glass Gemstones can be dropped from enemies. Although this is not the fastest way to get a Glass Gemstone, it is an option for those who camp out under the open sky.

Glass Gemstones can count as treasures and any you don’t use can be sold to vendors at a very reasonable price. After you have obtained your first Glass Gemstone and turned in a Rusted bit, return to Hammerhead to speak to Cid about A Better Engine Blade II. You will be able to continue the quest by finding another rare item.
